What we want instructors to address

  • How suppressed shooting changes communication, recoil perception and class flow.
  • Common compatibility or mounting mistakes students make.
  • Maintenance and inspection habits worth teaching early.
  • How new and pre-owned equipment can be evaluated responsibly.
  • Where a suppressor is useful—and where other hearing-protection or safety controls remain essential.

Editorial standard

SSC may edit submissions for length and clarity, but never to change the contributor’s meaning. Material product claims should be grounded in the contributor’s actual experience and remain subject to the manufacturer’s published instructions. Hearing protection, range rules and applicable law continue to apply.
